This 50th anniversary timepiece pays tribute to the “Silver Snoopy Award” that OMEGA received from NASA astronauts in 1970, in recognition of the brand’s contributions to space exploration, including the Apollo 13 mission.
The watch is driven by the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 3861, and comes in a special presentation box.
Ref. 310.32.42.50.02.001 celebrates the 50th anniversary of the award, complete with a depiction of Snoopy himself floating through space at 9 o’clock. Other tributes to the mission include a trajectory of the Apollo 13 mission on the lining of the blue nylon strap and a case back decorated with an image of the far side of the Moon and an innovative moving Command Service Module with Snoopy inside.
